Hey Guys,

Welcome to the next ‘Never Have I Ever’ edition, a classic drinking game in which players ask each other about things they have not done, ever :) Who has done this thing, responds by taking a drink.

My statement for you this time is: Never Have I Ever been on a blind date. 

Have you? And if you did, how did it go? Wat is a huge succes or an absolute disaster? Did a friend fix you up? Or have you perhaps set up someone for a blind date yourself? 

Blind dates are risky but sometimes things work out, so it's worth a shot :)

Yes I have. Went to her house to pick her up and mom opened the door. I thought if she looks half as good as mom she must be WOW. She came down the stairs and I wished Mom was my date.

I never had a blind date before, and i think i will not have, after i heard several stories from friends, what had happen, when they did, like it was someone completely different or nobody was even there

I had several in college on party nights and double dates. Some were tense, more were a good experience. I think the key was to not set expectations too high. One memorable blind date was setup by a co-worker years later. She was very attractive and had a personality to match. We had brunch that day and spent several enjoyable hours together that afternoon. I married her two years later!

Do online "dates" count? I've never been on a blind date in person, but I did start a relationship online with someone I had never met. She enjoyed my sense of humor in a forum we both participated in and we started talking, then we met up and had a good in-person relationship for roughly 5 years before eventually mutually separating. It wasn't meant to be, ultimately, but was great while it lasted.

Several times I've had blind dates. Some bad, some good, one was great! My friend set me up with his cousin. When she walked in the door, I was saying to myself, "I hope she's the cousin"! We hooked up a few nights later, and dated a few weeks.
